Anyway, the Meade Girls will be having another shoebox swap this Saturday. The theme is Christmas or winter cards...and that's great since I only have ONE Christmas card made so far!! Here's the card that I made to take to the swap:
This is my favorite new color combination- Cherry Cobbler (LOVE IT!) and Old Olive with Very Vanilla. The stamp set is a retired SU set called "From Our House to Yours". I bought it at a "yard sale" at the last shoebox swap that I went to. It's one of those sets that I kicked myself for not buying when it was in the catalog, so I was happy to be able to get it! I hope the girls enjoy making this card.I'm really looking forward to going to the swap. It's always so much fun to stamp and spend time with friends...and of course, the eating is fun, too! I'll be back this weekend with pictures of all the cards that I make at the swap, so stay tuned!
Mary this is lovely! I'd never have thought to stamp that scene in red and doesn't it work well!
