I can't believe that it's already Tuesday again! This week, Leah has challenged us to make a card using stitching- either real or faux. Well, since my sewing machine and I don't see eye-to-eye, I thought it best to do the faux stitching. Here's the card I made for this challenge:
The bucket image is from Sherrod Studio's Downhome Blessings set. The image is stamped onto GP110 white cardstock and colored using a combination of SU and Copic markers. The card base is SU's Chocolate Chip, with layers of Bashful Blue and the DPs are "Cheeky" from Making Memories. The ribbon is Offray. The faux stitching is done using a white gel pen.
Don't forget that right now Sherrod Studio is having Mega Sale! ALL Sherrod Studio stamp sets are 40% off!!!
Now hop on over to the other design team members' blogs to check out their stitched creations!

ReplyDeleteAbout stitching...when I was little my mom, who is a seamstress by trade, tried to teach me to sew...I hated it...I would play the piano in the same room while she sewed...I was much better at that...so the point to this story is.....I faux stitch... I love the bucket stamp...and the colors you chose.
