I wasn't able to get a very good picture of it. The patterned paper has glitter on the flower centers and I added Stickles to the center of the flowers on the images to match.
Here is the verse I put on the inside of the card:
Stamp: Coneflowers digital image, Sympathy digital image (I'm not sure who these images are from)
Papers: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up), Neenah 80# white, patterned paper (K & C Company)
Accessories: Copic Markers, Stickles, sponge
Its a beautiful sympathy card- I think you hit the spot perfectly. I agree they can be so difficult- but I think the key is simplicity. Its the thought and love behind the card that shine through then.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card, Mary. Not just beautiful to look at - but the message is beautiful, too. Sorry for your friend's loss....
ReplyDeleteYou made a lovely card for this sad occasion, Mary. I think the inside verse is just perfect. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely, and your sentiment is perfect. I totally understand about the difficulty with a sympathy card. I just went through a similar experience, not sure if the yellow color that I used was appropriate. But I liked the card after looking at it for a bit, so decided to send it along, hoping it will provide a bit of sunshine in their grief. TFS. I'll be back to see your lovely cards.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful.
