It's A Party! Danse Macabre!

Happy Halloween!!! Bombshell Stamps is having a party...a party to celebrate the re-launching of their updated forum. We will be partying for 3 days- starting today- and running through Wednesday. The Bombshells have challenges, games, and lots of prizes...so make sure to check it out HERE.

I am thrilled to be hosting one of the party challenges. My challenge is called "Howl at the Moon". Your challenge is to create a project using your Bombshell Stamps or digi-images but make sure that you have a MOON somewhere on it! It's easy to play along- all you'll need to do is create your project and post a picture of it on THIS thread on the forum and you could win one of MANY prizes! All prize-winners will be randomly selected. Hurry! You only have until Thursday morning at 12 midnight (PDT) - that's 3:00am eastern- to post your creations!!

To get you started, I've provided a little inspiration for you:

It's kind of my own little Danse Macrabre! (I FINALLY put to use the brayering skills that I learned from Michelle Zindorf this past summer!)

So, now you know your challenge and you've been (hopefully!) inspired, so go get to work! I can't wait to see what you create!!! Oh, and you will need to join the forum to participate but it's FREE! Once you've joined you'll be privvy to updates on sales and new releases, monthly challenges, and lots and lots of fabulous inspiration from the Bombshell beauties and Pin-Ups.

THE Michelle Zindorf!

Yesterday, my friends Gloria, Theresa , JoAnn, and I traveled to Owings Mills to take Michelle Zindorf's brayering class! WHAT FUN!! Michelle is a super sweet lady and she taught us everything we could ever want to learn about using a brayer! Most of all, I learned what I'd been doing WRONG all this time. Each time I would try to use a brayer I would end up with "stripes" instead of the nicely faded color like I'd seen others get when they brayered. THAT alone was worth the price of the classes! :) We took both the beginner brayer and advanced brayer classes. We got to make 3 absolutely gorgeous cards in each session.

Here are those cards.
Beginner Class- our "warming up" card

Advanced Class:

Here are a couple of pictures from the class:

"The Meade Girls" meet Michelle Zindorf!! JoAnn, me, Michelle, Gloria, and Theresa:

A BIG thanks to Lorie Moses for opening her house to us and hosting the classes! If you ever get the chance to attend one of Michelle's brayering class I highly recommend that you do! You will NOT be sorry!!!!

What's Up? ZINDORF!

One day I was surfing Splitcoaststampers looking at cards and this card jumped off the screen at me!!

This fabulous card is a Michelle Zindorf original creation. Michelle is an absolute wizard with the brayer and I am totally in awe of her talent! While visiting her blog, I nearly fell off my chair when I saw that she, the wonderfully talented Michelle Zindorf, was coming to Maryland to do some brayering workshops!!!!

I immediately emailed my fellow Meade Girl, Gloria, to tell her the wonderful news!!!! I am THRILLED to say that both Gloria and I have signed up to take Michelle Zindorf's brayering workshop when she comes to Owings Mills in July! Gloria, and I are taking both the beginner and the advanced brayering classes on July 9th! I can only hope that I can be HALF as good as Michelle is once I've taken her classes! If you've never seen Michelle's work, check it out here. If you're interested in taking her brayering workshops when she comes to Maryland, click here.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
