Hear Ye, Hear Ye!!!!

"I Have An Announcement!" That is the challenge for this week's Hambo Hoedown #12. We were to use this adorable King digi-image and put our own "announcement" on the banner. I'm not very good with altering digi-images, yet, but I'm learning...it took me a while to figure out how to "write" inside the banner but then I couldn't figure out how to make it bigger. Oh, well..

Inside of card:
I made this card for a co-worker who will be turning 50 next month. I hope she likes it!! I can see this image being used a lot for engagements, births, moving, etc. What fun!

Another of the Meade Girls was chosen to be an Honorary "Bacon Bit" (that's what Hambo's design team is called!) over at the Hambo Hoedown challenge blog this week!! Last week it was Gloria, and this week it's Paula!! Check out Paula's blog here!

Cupcake Craft Challenge #36

I don't usually do challenges, but this sketch intriqued me...this is my submission for Cupcake Craft Challenge #36. This is one of the stamps from Pink Gem Designs. Isn't he cute? The "Just for you" sentiment is by Impression Obsession. I used all SU papers- Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White. The background white is embossed using the Dotted Swiss embossing folder in my Cuttlebug. The image is stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black and colored using Copics. The edge is punched using SU's eyelet edge punch. I'm not sure who made the red gem stick-ons or the red gingham ribbon. (sorry for the crooked scan!)
I'm going to use this card as a thank you for a parent volunteer who helped me with kindergarten registration last week.
