Cards, Friends, Food, and Tats!

Yesterday I spent the day with the Meade Girls stamping away a rainy day...not only was it raining VERY heavily but it was windy AND we were under a tornado watch, but that didn't stop us from having a great time! We stamped, we ate, we talked...we even compared tattoos- and were surprised by some that have been inked! (I guess "ink" is in our blood whether it be on cards or on our bodies) There is NOTHING that we won't walk about!!!

First of all, here is the card that I made to take to the swap. Not a favorite of mine at all, but that's what I get for waiting till the last minute!

I used Stampin' Up's Bliss stamp set. Cardstock is also Stampin' Up: Summer Sun, Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy. The white cardstock is GP110. Inks used are Night of Navy, More Mustard and Cherry Cobbler.

Now onto the FABULOUS cards that the other Meade Girls brought for us to make. I do believe they outdid themselves this time!!!

Angie

(what a COOL thing to do with punches! This card was altered a bit from the original. Because I don't seem to like to read the directions, I punched the red panel on the side and not the bottome like I was supposed to do, so I made a few changes and came up with this.)

Linda (aka "Tilly")

(Another card that I had to alter a bit since I forgot to stamp the image that she used. I just added the stamped oval after I got home.)

Cindy

(What a FUN sentiment with this giraffe stamp!!)

Lynn

(this is SO pretty- simple yet so elegant!)

Rose

(love this dog stamp!!)

Michelle D.

(Cupcakes are ALWAYS good!!)

Kathi

(Just beautiful!)

Tracie

(Love the tissue paper that she used as an element!)

Michelle G.

(That black silhouette image is SO striking against the turquoise blackground!)

Theresa R.

(I do love black and white cards!)

Theresa S.

(Great kid card!)

Gloria

(Although Gloria didn't like her card, I loved it! That blue paper is so shimmery!)

Jane

(Another card that I had to slightly alter because I didn't get my horse panel in the proper place. I still like it, though!)

Amanda

(A beautiful card from our hostess! I had to run home and order the Four Frames set!)

Paula R.

(Great fold on this card! Love that butterfly!)

Vera

(A new technique to try with amazing results! Misting with Markers!)

Pete (aka Evelyn)

(Pete once again won the P.I.T.A. award! Not really a pain in the a$$ but just time consuming. Definitely worth the time you put into it!!)

Kathy

(This little guy is just TOO stinking cute!!!! What a great little gift!

The OCD in me really wants those squiggles on the cupcake to be straight, though!)

I just LOVE how each and every card is so different but I love them ALL!! I can't wait till the next swap!!
