For me, masculine cards are always hard. I created one card and promptly threw that one in the trash. My second attempt wasn't much better, but I was not feeling well and by that time I decided "it is what is it"...and here it is- using the crayon resist technique:
Here are the other cards I made at the swap and who created them:
Fran
Kathi
Theresa R.
Pete
Cindy
(stamping on cork!)
Paula
(this is an adorable card that I accidentally smudged. Attempting to "save" it, I smudged it some more- major fail on my part!)
Michelle D.
Gloria
Rose
Tracie
Connie
Sarah
Amanda
(this was the first card I made and I guess my eyes weren't quite working right- everything was crooked!!! It's such a great card that I'm hoping I can somehow salvage it.)
Kathy
Sara
Jane
We had a blast stamping, chatting...and yes, eating...as always! :) It had been a while since I had been and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!! I'm SO looking forward to the next one in April!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Loved all these cards
ReplyDeleteHad so much fun! Thanks for taking the pictures and posting the cards. Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had a great time.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fabulous masculine cards. :-)
ReplyDeleteI envy you being in an active group! I miss the fun! I see "canvas" on your card Mary, my other favorite background....(Linen!)
ReplyDeleteAll the cards are wonderful! I find it hard to make masculine cards too! Girls are so much easier!
ReplyDeleteMasculine cards are hard for me also. You did a great job.
