"You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop: The Hambo Hoedown!" And what a cool way to use that imagination- at the Hambo Hoedown!
This week's Hoedown challenge was to use this adorable alien image:
...and to add dimension of some sort to your project. Well, I haven't played in the Hoedown for several weeks, so I didn't get the cute little alien guy to work with, but I remembered I had another Hambo digi-mage that is very similar- Birthday Thing seen here:
...so I decided to use him, along with the Moonscape digi-image that I had received in the Hoedown a while back. Here's my submission for the Hambo Hoedown challenge # 31:
To give my card dimension, I used my Cuttlebug and embossing folders to give the moon and the sky texture. I also applied stick-on pearls to the center of each star and popped "Thing" up using pop-up dots.
Stop by the Hambo Hoedown and check out what the fabulous Bacon Bits (AKA the Hambo Hoedown Design Team) has to share for your inspiration...and heck, why not go ahead and play along?! Use any Hambo stamp or digital image to create your dimensional project and add it to the blog post here using the Inlinkz button.
Stamps: Birthday Thing, Moonscape digi-images from Hambo Stamps
Cardstock: Green Galore, Basic Black, Neenah 80# white
Accessories: Copic Markers, Cuttlebug, Stars embossing folder (Provo), Cracked Glass embossing folder (Tim Holtz), stick-on pearls (Reflections), pop dots.
