Ahoy there!

I love Bombshell Stamps. I bought this set a while ago but hadn't done anything with it. I noticed on PaperCraftPlanet that Bombshell Stamps is having a Nautical Card Contest, so I figured it was time to pull out the set and put it to good use! This set is called "Ahoy Sailor". I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black onto white GP110 cardstock and colored it with Copics. The base card is Bashful Blue. The layering panels are Basic Black and the western-themed retired SU DP. There is a white weathered star pattern on the paper and I embossed it with my Cuttlebug and Distressed Stripe embossing folder. I used dark blue star brads and laced natural-colored hemp through the brads, tying knots in the middle. The main image is popped up with dimensionals. I also stamped the USS Bombshell life preserver with Memento Tuxedo Black onto GP110 white cardstock and colored with Copics. I then- as carefully as I could- cut the life preserver out using my very, very sharp paper snips. I cut out all that I dare to! :) The life preserver is also popped up with dimensionals.
