This first card is another made using Bombshell Queen from Bombshell Stamps. I had found this ribbon at Michael's and wanted to use it with one of my Bombshell images. I had a cherry stamp from SU's Just Jawing set that I thought would go perfectly...well, I colored the image with my SU markers and it just wouldn't stamp right- I wanted good solid coverage but it just wouldn't work right, so...her is the outcome without the cherry stamp...it needs something else, but I just can't put my finger on exactly what...I used SU's Real Red and Garden Green. The Garden Green panel is embossed in my Cuttlebug using the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. The Bombshell Queen image and the Retro saying are stamped on GP110 cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Markers. The flowers are Primas and the large black brad in the center is Recollections from Michael's. I used metallic red self-stick half-beads in the upper corners of the image panel. Maybe I'll put some sort of sentiment to fill in the empty space...
I saw this dotted ribbon in the $1 bin at Michael's and immediately thought of this set! The stamp set is a retired one from SU called Frolicking Frogs. This one one of those purchases that I asked myself "WHY did I buy this set?" Anyway, I decided to give it another shot...the card base is SU Chocolate Chip and I embossed a Barely Banana panel in the Cuttlebug using the Bubbles embossing folder. The image is stamped on GP110 cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with...whatelse?...my Copics! The little crocheted flowers I found at the Offray Ribbon outlet when we made our Ribbon Run last month. I attached them using glue dots. So...what do you think? I think he's kinda cute...
One of the teachers at my school just had her first baby on Tuesday...little Abbigail Cadence. I decided to use one of my Pink Gem Design baby stamps for her card. All papers (except for the GP110) is from Stampin' Up- Pixie Pink, Barely Banana and one of the retired DSP sets. I used my Copics to color the image. The ribbon is Appealing Apricot grosgrain from SU. I really wanted to put lace on this card, but can you believe, I didn't have any!!! Hmm, wonder if I can find a LACE outlet somewhere? :) Anyway, the large flower is from Bazzill, the button is Stampin' Up and I knotted a bit of pale yellow embroidery floss through the button holes and attached the flower using a pop dot. Yes, I know the "It's a girl!" oval is crooked...I wanted to put it on an angel, but half way down changed my mind and this is what I got...darn that mono adhesive sticks good!!
Boy you sure have been busy..These are just lovely. Love the baby one, this is just too cute and love the flower
