Wow! 2 posts in one day!

I haven't been able to stamp as much this week as I had planned, however, I was able to today. I wanted to apply for the Inky Impressions DT Call (make sure to see the next post titled Inky Impressions 2nd Design Team Call) and was actually able to make 3 cards. Here are the other 2 I made this morning. This image is from Pink Gem Designs and is called Nautical Milly. Isn't she cute? All papers are SU except for the white which is GP110. Milly is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored using my Copics. The red gingham ribbon is SU. The red self-stick half-beads are from Michael's.
This second card is made using the teddy bear image from Sherrod Studio's Gracie stamp set. I need a baby card for a coworker who is due any day now. She's having a boy. I've been wanting to use this teddy bear image for a baby card. The fold is a little different. The bear image panel opens and the blue panel opens to reveal the banana inside where the little moon is stamped (which, by the way I wish now I hadn't have done). All papers are SU- Tempting Turquoise, Barely Banana and Tempting Turquoise DSP. The white CS is GP110. The images are stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. The moon stamp is from Provo Crafts and the Welcome, Little One sentiment is from Fun Phrases, a retired SU set...which, of course, I got crooked! Other accessories used are the SU eyelet border punch and a sponge to sponge Tempting Turquoise ink around the teddy bear image.

I still need to make an anniversary card for my in-laws and catch up on a couple birthday cards. DH will be working both Saturday and Sunday so I'm hoping to be able to get them done then. I hope you check back again soon and let me know how you like my creations!
