Well, since I've been working on cards for the sneak peek of Sherrod Studio's new releases (and I can't show them to you yet!), I'm in the mood for Halloween (hint, hint!). Anyway, I LOVE SU's new Halloween DSP. I pulled out my Just Jawing set to use with it. All papers are SU- Basic Black, Eggplant Envy, and the new Halloween DSP. The white is GP110. The image is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with- what else?- my Copics! I sponged Eggplant Envy around the edges and I colored in one of his teeth using a gold metallic pen. The purple gem brads are from S.E.I. The large black flower is from Irene's Garden. The purple organdy ribbon is Offray. I might send this too my newphew for Halloween, if it isnt' too 'girly' with the flower.
Make sure to check back because on Monday, August 10th, we'll start posting sneak peeks of Sherrod Studio's new releases...and I must say, I love the images!!! I'm having so much fun 'playing' with them!!

I have this set and have not really used it. Maybe I will get it out in a bit and do Halloween. You did a cute one!
ReplyDeleteFun! I like making Halloween cards also (one of my favorite sets is Carved & Candlelit!) but I really have no purpose for them as I don't know any "young-uns" that would think something like that is neat! hahah

Very cool card! I'm ready to make Halloween and fall cards myself, even though I'm not quite ready for summer to end though! Love how you used the gems in his eyes and great idea for the gold tooth!
