First off this morning, I'd like to thank Susan for presenting me with this award:
It's such an honor to receive an award from such a fabulous and creative stamper! Check out Susan's blog here.
To accept this award I had to do a few things: First I needed to thank the person who nominated me for this award and include a link to her blog, which I have already done above. Then I need to list seven things about me that people might find interesting and then nominate seven Kreativ Bloggers, posting links to the seven blogs that I nominate, and then leave comments on all seven blogs letting them know I nominated them. So, here are the seven (hopefully) interesting things about me:
1. I got my motorcycle license at the age of 49.
2. I have had 3 broken arms (2 at once!)
3. I had not flown on an airplane until I was 45 years old...and what's strange about that is that my dad was in the Air Force while I was growing up!
4. I can write cursive backwards.
5. I can recite the 50 states in alphabetical order (thanks to a song I had to sing in chorus in the 5th grade!)
6. Ulysses S. Grant is my 7th cousin, as is Laura Ingalls Wilder.
7. I am currently on the Sherrod Studio Design Team- my first design team experience!
Okay, now here are the 7 Kreativ bloggers that I get my inspiration from (in no certain order) that I am nominating for this award:
Monica
Karin
Laurie
Kathi
Loretta
Bev
Debby
Thank you ladies, for sharing your fabulous artwork with us!!
On a second note, a while back, I submitted this card to Bombshell Stamps' Nautical Theme contest:
Well, yesterday I found out I WON the contest! As the winner, I will receive 3 tropical background stamps and a whole slew of blue embellishments from Gauche Alchemy!
