One of our teachers' daughter, Katie, a 6th grader, loves to bake. She's made several different kinds of cupcakes and sent them to us to snack on...and each kind has been delicious! I wanted to send her a card to thank her for thinking of us and to let her know how much I've enjoyed her cupcakes! This is the card that I'm going to send her:

Look at this scrumptious cupcake image!

This card didn't come out quite like I planned- the pink icing was a little TOO pink to match the paper and the sentiment that I computer-generated was too long so I had to cut it into 2 pieces. Oh, well...I hope she likes it anyway!! Thanks, Katie!!! You're a great baker!!
Stamp: Cupcake digi-set (Paper Garden Projects), sentiment is computer-generated
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Green Galore (Stampin' Up!), patterned paper from the Nook & Pantry pack (Basic Grey), Neenah white #80
Accessories: Cuttlebug, round and scalloped round Nesties, Copic markers, sponge, pop dots, pink stick-on gems (Bling IT by Basic Grey)
Oh Mary! How shabby and cute!!! :D
ReplyDeleteDANGIT! Now I am hungry!
ReplyDeleteYummy card Mary. I'm sure Katie will like it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she is going to like it. Love the way the cupcake matches the dp.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I am a new follower :)
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! She will love it, what a sweet thank you for a sweet girl. So nice that she shares cupcakes with all of you.
ReplyDeleteI think it's fabulous. The cupcake looks great, as does the design. I like the sentiment split like that!
